Roger is president of Monroe Shine and provides audit, accounting and tax services to a variety of public and closely-held businesses. Roger specializes in services to community financial institutions.
A member of the firm since 1980, Roger has served as director of audit and accounting and as the SEC practice group leader. In addition to audit and tax services, Roger provides management consulting services including entity selection and formation, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, nonqualified compensation arrangements and outsourced risk management. Roger has significant industry experience in financial institutions, construction, manufacturing and employee benefit plans.
Roger received his B.S. degree in accounting from Indiana University, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Indiana, California and North Carolina and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Roger is a former member of the Indiana CPA Society Quality Review Committee and has served as a discussion leader for continuing professional education courses on banking and auditing. Roger's community service includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Hospice of Southern Indiana Foundation and Hosparus, Inc. as well as the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Heritage Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
